How to take an on-demand backup

This page provides a quick, step-by-step guide on how to manually trigger an on-demand backup using the Revyz Data Manager app in Jira.


  1. Open the Atlassian site you created.

  2. Click on Apps and then select Revyz Data Manager for Jira app

  3. After the app loads, Select Data Security & Compliance → On Demand Backup

  1. Select the backup type you would like to backup

    1. Jira issues

    2. Jira configurations

    3. Assets configurations

    4. Assets objects

    5. Xray Plugin

    6. Tempo Plugin

  2. Provide a tag name (optional).

  3. Click on Backup now. This will initiate a backup job and navigate to “Jobs“ tab, it will take a couple of minutes to complete.
