Enable Assets backup

This page provides a simple, step-by-step guide on how to enable backups for Jira Assets (formerly Insight) within the Revyz app.

Pre-requisites:

  1. An Atlassian site: Learn how to create an Atlassian site.

  2. Revyz app installed on the Atlassian site: Learn how to install the Revyz app

  3. Atlassian API token added in the Revyz app: Learn how to add the Atlassian API token to the app


Steps to enable assets backup:

  • Go to the Atlassian site

  • Navigate to Apps → Revyz app → Settings

  • Select Backup settings card

  • Click on the edit icon in the card with title “Data backups“

  • Enable the Assets objects and Assets configurations backup job types

  • Enable the Assets objects and Assets configurations backup job types

  • Click on Next and then click on Yes in the confirmation prompt
