Monitor Site Health via the Admin Dashboard

About this Page

This document aims to guide you through the process of using the Revyz Admin Dashboard to monitor your Atlassian site health and backup status. Instead of digging through multi-page data logs, the Revyz app provides a single, high-level summary overview to quickly verify data security, backup intervals, and recent job tasks.

Self-guided demo

For detailed steps on how to navigate and understand the Revyz Admin Dashboard metrics, see the video below.

Pre-requisites:

  1. An Atlassian site: Throughout this guide, we will refer to your environment as https://site-1.atlassian.net. Learn how to create an Atlassian site

  2. The Revyz app installed on the Atlassian site (https://site-1.atlassian.net). Learn how to install the Revyz app

Before reviewing the dashboard

  • Ensure that your instance has run at least one scheduled or manual backup job.

    • If you have not executed a backup yet, your dashboard metric counts will show zero data points.

    • Trigger an initial run if needed to populate the summary tiles. Learn how to take an on-demand backup

Important: Proceed once the active setup job is complete so the dashboard charts reflect live system details.

Review site health on the dashboard
  • Go to your Atlassian site (https://site-1.atlassian.net).

  • Navigate to Apps → Revyz Command Center for Jira.

  • By default, the app opens directly to the Admin Dashboard home page.

  • Reviewing the Health Indicators:

    • Locate the Backup Protection Status widget at the top.

    • Confirm that it shows a Green Success indicator along with the timestamp of your last backup.

  • Analyzing Protected Asset Counts:

    • Look down at the metric summary cards section.

    • Review individual data volume rows:

      • Total Projects/Spaces Protected

      • Total Issues / Work Items Protected

      • Total Attachments Secured

  • Checking Recent Task Activities:

    • Scroll down to the Recent Activities widget layout table at the bottom of the dashboard.

    • Verify the list of recent actions. Successful actions will display a green check badge, while warnings or failures will display a red badge for easy troubleshooting.

To confirm backup protection metrics:
  • On the Recent Activities table on the dashboard, locate your latest backup entry row.

  • Click directly on the associated Job ID text link.

  • Confirm that you are redirected to the deep logs page showing itemized counts of secure objects, validating that your dashboard summaries match backend execution logs exactly.
