This page talks about Work Items Explorer, a new capability within the Revyz Command Center for Jira. It is a secure, read-only interface designed to provide immediate access to your backed-up Jira data, allowing you to browse, search, and preview project details and individual work items (issues) directly from your backup snapshots.

What is the use case?

The primary use case for the Work Items Explorer is to maintain business continuity by providing immediate, read-only access to your Jira data during a site outage, and for pre-restore verification to ensure data integrity before initiating a recovery operation.

Projects View

This feature is applicable to:

Upon entering the Work Items Explorer, you are presented with the Projects view, which offers a consolidated, searchable index of all projects included in your selected backup snapshot.

This view acts as your central verification point to locate specific projects before initiating any restore actions.

Project List

Displays a list of all projects successfully captured in the backup. The total count of projects is visible at the bottom

Search and Filter

You can quickly locate projects by utilizing the filter boxes available for each column: Name, Key, Type, Lead.

Data Preview

Clicking on a specific Project Name allows you to "drill down" into that project. From here, you can view and preview the individual Jira work items (issues), configurations, and associated data within the project, ensuring you restore the correct information.
