About this Page
The On-demand backup page, accessed under the Revyz Configuration Manager, provides the ability to initiate a manual backup job. In this view, the focus is on securing Assets Objects (formerly known as Insight).

This backs up the actual objects, items, and entries stored within your Assets (formerly Insight) database. The primary use case for taking an On-demand backup focused on Assets Objects is to secure the integrity of your Inventory and Configuration Management Database (CMDB) data immediately following or preceding significant data changes.
