Example of object type
Snapshots used before 15th April 2024 allows you to select restore setting while restoring Object types
When you are restoring the specific object types, You can see 3 settings in it
Parent object type
Child object type
Statuses - Which are used in object type’s attributes
Object types & statuses is restored as Revyz_job id
Parent object type
If you want to restore parent object type of selected object type then you have to select Create new setting
For e.g. There are two object types - > Object type A & Object type B, and B is child of A
If you have selected object type B to restore & you select create new setting for parent object types then it will restore Object type B as it selected & Object type A as it is a parent object type
If you select Reuse existing then it will not created Object type A i.e it will reuse the same

2. Child object type
If you want to restore child object type of selected object type then you have to select Create new setting
For e.g. There are 3 object types - > Object type A , Object type B & Object type C.
Object B & C are child object types of Object type A
If If you have selected object type A to restore & you select Create new setting for Child object types then it will also restore Object type B & Object type C & Object type A as it selected
If you select Do not restore setting, then Object A will get restored as it selected but it will not restore the child objects

3. Statuses
You have statuses in object type’s attributes
For e.g. There are 3 statuses in the Attribute of Object type Engineering
Status names are Department status 1, Department status 2 & Department status 3
If you have selected object type A to restore & select the setting as Create new, then it will restore all 3 statuses

If you select Reuse Existing, then it will restore Object type A & reuse the same statuses
