What is the use case?

How to Backup Tempo Worklogs

To perform an on-demand backup of your Tempo Worklogs, follow these steps:

Navigate to Data Security & Compliance >> On Demand Backup

Select Components

  1. Locate the Tempo Timesheets Worklogs option in the list.

    • Note: Ensure you have configured your Tempo API Token in the Revyz Settings page before proceeding. For more, visit here.

Review Included Objects

Click the dropdown arrow to the right of "Tempo Timesheets Worklogs" to see the objects included in the backup:

  1. Audit Logs: Records of changes and administrative actions within Tempo.

  2. Worklogs: Individual time entries recorded by users against Jira issues.

Tag Your Backup

  1. In the "Enter tag for backup snapshot" text field, enter a descriptive name (e.g., Pre-Audit-April-2024) to help you identify this specific recovery point later.

  2. Initiate Backup: Click the blue Backup now button.

    • The system will initiate a backup job. You can monitor the progress of this task in the Jobs dashboard.
