Revyz App Access Permissions

About this Page

The Revyz App Access Permissions page details how system roles, user groups, and administrator rights are mapped and verified within the Revyz application.

What is the Use Case?

  • Access Control: Understand exactly which user groups automatically receive admin or standard access upon installation.

  • Security & Governance: Maintain full visibility over who can configure app settings, run data operations, or cancel live jobs.

Default Behavior Upon Installation

When the Revyz app is first installed, specific system groups are automatically categorized and mapped to the "Revyz access control" dashboard:

  • org-admins or site-admins: If either group is present on your site, it is automatically added to the dashboard, and its members are natively granted full "Revyz app admin" privileges.

  • jira-administrators: If this group is present, it is added to the access control dashboard, but its members are not granted "Revyz app admin" privileges by default.
