Export Data (Offline Access)

About this Page

The Offline Access feature is a business continuity solution designed for worst-case scenarios, such as a total outage of Atlassian, AWS, or Azure, or when an organization is migrating away from Atlassian site.

This feature is applicable to:

Command Center for Jira Advanced BYOS

Command Center for Confluence Advanced BYOS

Note:

To utilize the Offline Access feature, the following requirements must be met:

Bring Your Own Storage (BYOS): You must have your own storage configured (AWS S3 or Azure Blob Storage). This feature is not available if you are using Revyz-managed storage.

What is the use case?

Unlike standard disaster recovery which relies on cloud infrastructure, Offline Access ensures you hold a copy of your data that is completely independent of Revyz, Atlassian, or cloud providers. Revyz exports your data into a human-readable HTML format directly to your own storage, allowing you to host it on a local server and provide read-only access to critical documentation and work items.

Export Data creates snapshots in formats that can be downloaded and viewed without an active internet connection or a live Confluence instance.  Format: The data (Pages, Blogs, and Attachments) is converted into human-readable HTML format.

Benefits

True Platform Independence

Unlike traditional Disaster Recovery (DR) which often requires a functioning cloud environment to restore services, Offline Access creates a version of your data that is 100% decoupled from Atlassian, Revyz, and external cloud application layers.

Regulatory & Compliance Readiness

For industries with stringent "Always-On" requirements (such as Finance, Healthcare, or Government), Offline Access provides documented proof that mission-critical intellectual property remains accessible even during a total internet or service provider blackout.

Air-Gapped Business Continuity

The system generates snapshots in a universal, human-readable format. These assets can be localized and viewed without an active internet connection or a live Jira/Confluence instance. This ensures that your team can continue to reference:

  • Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)

  • Critical Incident Response Documentation

  • Project Historical Records and Attachments

Archival & Migration Support

For organizations transitioning away from Atlassian platforms, Offline Access serves as a high-fidelity, read-only archive. It allows you to decommission live licenses while retaining a searchable, navigable record of work items and pages for legal or historical reference.
