Acceptable Use Policy (AUP)

Acceptable Use Policy for Revyz SaaS Service

  1. Introduction

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") governs the use of Revyz's Software as a Service (SaaS) applications ("Service"). By using the Service, you ("Customer") agree to comply with this AUP. Revyz ("Company") reserves the right to modify this AUP at any time.

  1. Permitted Use

The Service is intended for your lawful business purposes only. You may use the Service in accordance with the documentation and instructions provided by the Company.

  1. Prohibited Use

You are strictly prohibited from using the Service for:

a) Illegal Activities: Violating any applicable law, regulation, or legal process. b) Infringing Content: Uploading, storing, or transmitting content that infringes on intellectual property rights, privacy, or publicity rights of others. c) Harmful Content: Uploading, storing, or transmitting defamatory, obscene, hateful, or otherwise harmful content. d) Security Violations: Attempting unauthorized access to the Service, other accounts, systems, or networks. e) Spam: Sending unsolicited mass communications. f) Disruption: Interfering with or disrupting the Service or other users' access. g) Malicious Code: Uploading, storing, or transmitting viruses, worms, or other malicious code. h) Excessive Usage: Using the Service beyond allocated resources or negatively impacting performance for other users. i) Unauthorized Reselling: Reselling or sublicensing the Service without prior written consent. j) Reverse Engineering: Copying, decompiling, translating, or disassembling the Service. k) Competitive analysis: Using the services to compare and contrast with other services. l) Copying capabilities and User Interface elements: Using the service to copy the capabilities offered by the service and copying them to offer your own services.

  1. User Data Responsibility

You are responsible for all data uploaded, stored, or transmitted through the Service. The Company will not access your data except as necessary to provide the Service or as required by law.

  1. Fair Use of Data Storage

5.1 Data Storage Limits

a) Jira and Confluence Data (excluding attachments): Unlimited

b) Attachments:

Minimum Storage: 250 GB per customer

Maximum Storage: 2 TB per customer

Additional Storage: 0.1 GB per user for customers with over 1,000 users

5.2 Fair Use Guidelines

Our goal is to provide a reliable and efficient backup solution for Jira and Confluence data. To achieve this, we encourage users to follow these fair use guidelines:

a) Regularly remove unnecessary attachments b) Optimize attachment sizes c) Use external storage for non-critical data d) Comply with your organization's IT policies

5.3 Monitoring and Enforcement

The Company reserves the right to contact customers approaching storage limits and may implement: a) Data archiving or deletion policies b) Storage tier upgrades (if available)

5.4 Consequences of Non-Compliance

a) Storage Throttling b) Suspension of Services

  1. Enforcement

The Company reserves the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service for any violation of this AUP and may take legal action if necessary.

  1. Changes to AUP

The Company may revise this AUP at any time. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of any revisions.
