Pre-Migration Steps Required for Destination Site - Before migrating your entire site, certain preparatory steps need to be completed on the destination site to ensure a smooth and successful migration. These steps include:
Setting Up Required Configurations – Ensure that necessary user roles, permissions, and configurations are in place.
Users - Add all the users same as source site.
Groups - Add all the groups same as source site.
Project roles - Add all project roles same as source site.
Subtask - Sub task should be enabled.
Unassigned issues - Allow all unassigned issues to true from system settings.
Check the hierarchy of issue types.
Installing Required Apps & Dependencies – If third-party apps are involved, they need to be installed and configured before data migration.
